Dr. Girish Rao has been in practice more than 15 years and has a strong continuous interest in education, providing clinical and educational training to his other colleagues. As part of his interest in ongoing education, Dr. Girish also researches, prepares and delivers presentations in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at national and International Maxillofacial conferences. He has a special interest in research and is carrying out many collaborative research in Japan, India and also UK in the fields of oral cancer and genetics.

Dr Girish Rao is currently working as Professor & Heads the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at R.V Dental college & Hospital, Bangalore, India.
